Self-awareness and ownership is where it all begins. By taking responsibility for our lives we stop living as victims and we have a chance to start living victoriously. Finding forgiveness for oneself and others is crucial to derail cycles of brokenness. All change stems from the power to decide to do things differently.
Every life has value and is worth fighting for. By clarifying purpose we help write new narratives for those who can’t find a way out of street life. Many we serve have never been told that their lives matter and we can’t wait to share a message of hope with them.
Transformation does not happen without authentic relationships. We know what it is like to be in the shoes of those we serve. We take pride in journeying with every individual through one-on-one mentoring, leadership workshops, community service projects, and educational support.
To build healthy communities you need healthy families and to have healthy families you need healthy individuals. We promote health and wellness by looking at the total person and seeing how we can best meet their physical, mental, and emotional needs. Education and accountability are key components to making incremental progress daily that produces significant results over time.
Providing hope is a collaborative effort. Through organizations and individuals who choose to champion our work we amplify our impact in urban communities. Together we form a network of support that safeguards the progress that is made daily.
Gainful employment is critical to building stability. We connect and equip at-risk individuals with meaningful employment opportunities through our network of advocates and business owners. This is not a handout–it’s a hand up.
